(大蜜蜂Molly) 2009 Boxing Molly
沒有想過我要做那麼多設計、文書、宣傳、談判、拍攝、訪問、生產、 Q C 、客服等等的工作，能夠做的我都做了，推著重重的貨品，終於接到一些訂單，突然令我想起少年時暑假在工廠和在McDonald的日子。（科普一下，少年時工作的那一間當時工作的麥當勞，當年曾經被統計為全球顧客人次最高的一間麥當勞，時薪4.8港元）
所以出現了Molly人生第一組雕像 （Mc Molly…)
她記載了很多我腦海中的那個年代的片段，和那個想放下來的皇冠表達了那個時候疲倦但仍要工作的情緒。
在最沒有力氣的時候，給我遇上你，五月天阿信，我並沒有做到最好，但你一直給我最好的鼓勵。

Don’t feel disappointed though the 200 pieces Monster Molly sold out within two hours on that day because Monster Molly will have new special edition coming. I assure you it will be more awesome.

為興祝Monster Gear一週年，Kenny會帶同最多人喜愛的朱古力Molly在台北東區的Monster Gear施展一場魔法~
展覽為期十天，Kenny請了香港超人氣創作單位How2work打造首次立體化的小Monster Gear公仔週年版。
To celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Monster Gear (eastern Taipei), Kenny together with Choco Molly conjured up an aroma show-“Molly’s Chocolate Magic”
The exhibition lasts for 10 days (13th – 22nd Nov, 2009). Kenny highly recommended the special 3D version little Monster Gear by How2work.

Hong Kong Venture 開幕派對當日，3A主腦人鋒哥重金禮聘兩位來自澳洲的當紅藝術家Ashley Wood, Jeremy Geddes連同幾位本地藝術家 Kenny Wong, Colan Ho , Mak Siu Fung 來個史無前例的超聯展，來賓接近三百人，當中有幾十位更加是組團過來為了一睹大師風采，其中一件作品亦因為人潮太湧而倒下，可謂迫到爆。大師們更即席揮毫，其中作品”魚童”(Yu Tong)更成了當晚焦點所在，大師筆下一揮，小魚童升價十倍。
In the opening party of Hong Kong Venture, head of 3A, Kim invited two of the most Australian eminent painters, Ashley Wood and Jeremy Geddes; together with local artists, Kenny Wong, Colan Ho and Siufung Mak to raise an unprecedented joined exhibition. Almost three hundred visitors overcrowded in the venue. Dozens of them came from a long way. All they long for was to have a close look of live painting by artists. You can’t imagine that one of the paintings was dropped due to the crowdedness. “FishChild” (Yu Tong) was the big big winner because with her portrait by Master Painter Ashley!! Sure appreciation tenfold!

Ron English, Joe Ledbetter, Gary Baseman…All the people were enchanted by the life demo of Ron English, Joe Ledbetter & Gary Baseman.
To publicize our new stars: Poison-tofu Molly & Tokidoki Molly, we flew to Singapore. Without the help of these two big folk, I would be tired out as a dog during autograph function.
My biggest reward for this trip was having the chance of learning from these Masters. Their performance held the spotlight of the whole exhibition. This was the first time getting so close…I was totally absorbed at Gary Baseman’s work even though it might be once in my life time!
You know what! This is also Molly’s happiest moment cause she got the chance to take photo with Toby!

首次跟大師的合作，就算有多重，帶過來還是值得的，今次帶來了我的設計部份—SEA MONKEY。像所有Ashley Wood fans一樣超期待snowpea的出現。
Knowing Ashley would be there, I decided to bring the very heavy piece – COPPERHEAD-18 SEA MONKEY. Just like all the fans of Ashley, we all expecting the appearance of “snow pea”.
參與一次展覽沒有超人的精力實在無法完成，所以會場的超人多得是呢!!

一年一度由台北怪獸公司主辦的台北國際玩具創作大展，不經不覺今年已經是第六屆了，由於地點移師到華山，所以也是歷來最大型的一次。不好意思，因為最近工作繁忙，未能第一時間將最新消息送的上，現在就和大家介紹一下今年的最新作品和產品~

至於Copperhead-18今年就更強勁，首先要提的當然是和這位超紅的澳籍插畫大師Ashley wood的合作，這位大師來頭可不簡單，得過三次光譜獎，曾經為許多知名出版社工作過，包括DC，MARVEL，Image等，最近則是轉移到新出版社 IDW，為「Metal Gear Solid」（特攻神諜or潛龍諜影）漫畫版執筆，上年更和香港創作團隊THREEZERO組成超強組合 “THREE A ”
Copperhead-18 is full of energy cause with the help of Ashley Wood! You know Wood is a continual award-winning illustrator. He worked for companies such as DC, Marvel and Image. Lately, he has been working with IDW Publishing and starting a project called “Metal Gear Solid” comics. Last year, Ashley Wood and ThreeZero’s founder Kim created “ThreeA”.
這個首度和Ashley wood的合作的深潛裝置，便是2009年由3A操刀的最新Copperhead-18—SEA MONKEY，有趣的地方是，Ashley設計的不是機械人，而是駕駛員，kenny設計的也不潛水員，而是潛水機械人。這個在各大小部落客談論的作品將 會首次在今年的TTF亮相。(將不日發售 )

The funniest part about our first collaboration would be Ashley no longer design for robot, rather a female pilot; and what Kenny went for wasn’t a diver but a diving robot. Besides the SEA MONKEY, Kenny Wong also collaborated with Clay Ferg who is a US Designer. The item named Copperhead Squads which is a cute but cool guy everybody sure will fall in love with. Debut of three versions on TTF also. ( keep you posted about the date for sale, stay with us )
為興祝3A一週年而推出的白色版本的bambaboss DIY figure ，在澳洲時間六月二十四日日早上九時正式發售，即日售磬。這個充滿熱情的台灣紅色版bambaboss被Ashley命名為TAIBOSS，將會在TTF 第二天在kennyswork的鋪超限量發售，萬勿錯過。
To commemorate the 1st Anniversary of ThreeA (3A), bambaboss was born which is a clear white vinyl hooded DIY figure. However, it was all sold out at a single day, 24th June in Australia. Therefore, to satisfy our crazy fans, a hot red version, named “TAIBOSS” will be for sale in a limited quantity in 10th August, Taipei Toy Festival 2009. Hope you won’t miss again. ” V Cre-A” 展覽
於6月18日至29日將於iXTEE 舉辦名為” V Cre-A” 展覽, 展覽由Hanvon漢王及Gateway Computer Resources Ltd合辦, 主意推動本港創意工業, 部份展品更是重未曝光, 只於今次展覽中展出。
更展出由4位大師級人馬操刀設計的特別版Art Master 8″ x 6″，獨一無二，分別是林祥焜、Felix So、John Chan 及 Kenny Wong。
填寫問卷、發表意見將有機會獨得林祥焜、John Chan 或 Kenny Wong 的親筆簽名複製原畫，名額3份。
得獎者將獲專人通知領獎，及於iXTEE內公佈。
展覽期間更送出限量印制的八達通貼紙, 一套3款, 分別有林祥焜的Good Girl, Kenny Wong 的 Molly 及 John Chan @ 貓室的設計.

2009台北國際玩具創作大展 活動訊息Taipei Toy Festival 2009 News
DADA×KENNY WONG「KOIMOLLY SNEAKER」聯名系列
2009台北國際玩具創作大展，今天要為大家繼續介紹第三波DADA與藝術家的聯名商品！
這個叫「KOIMOLLY SNEAKER」的系列，是由知名香港公仔創作單位鐵人兄弟之一的Kenny Wong 所設計。Kenny除了兼顧鐵人兄弟的工作外，在2006年也創立了自己的品牌-Kennyswork，其後推出第一個原創角色-Molly，這次的合作 就是以可愛的Molly角色作發揮。
Molly的誕生
Molly的誕生，是有ㄧ天Kenny去山頂幫忙一個慈善團體畫畫，在會場遇見身旁一位小妹妹，就像Molly那般大眼睛、扁起嘴巴在畫Kenny，相當有趣，於是Kenny便把她的印象畫在他的畫冊上，Molly這個人物也就因此而誕生了。
這個頭戴湖水藍畫家帽的小女孩，名叫Molly，是一個擁有創作力的角色，她的個子小小的，擁有甜美的笑容及柔軟的金髮，明亮的眼睛好像能看穿別人 的心；她為自己創造出不同造型，透過Molly的畫筆，一幅幅充滿生命力的作品，令Molly成為一個擁有自己藝術生命的人物。
Kenny的設計靈感
「這雙以KOI Molly為名的DADA sneaker，嘗試以錦鯉為題材，以一身紅、黑、白色魚鱗設計，象徵著酷愛自由又充滿幻想的天使Molly，抱著色彩豐富，泳態優美的錦鯉，入水能游，出水能飛，逍遙自我，自由自在，到處尋覓幻想的天空。」
跳脫以往超級陽剛的鐵人兄弟創作系列，「KOIMOLLY SNEAKER」的系列洋溢著一股東洋風情。KOI即是日文中「錦鯉」的發音，顧名思義，KENNY 在這款DADA SHOTCALLER鞋款上，設計了類似鲤魚魚鱗片的鞋身壓紋設計，在光線折射下會細細的反光，顏色也使用了最常見錦鯉的紅黑兩色，是一款平實中帶著低調 華麗的作品。十分細緻迷人。
看到了設計中心元素的錦鯉之外，另一主角 Molly則是大玩躲貓貓，Kenny手繪了一幅Molly戲水騎錦鯉的圖畫，讓Molly出現在鞋後跟、鞋墊與鞋眼孔固定處上，鞋後跟下方還有藝術家的簽名，彌足珍貴。

除了鞋款外，也同時推出黑白兩色的KOIMOLLY聯名T。這次推出的所有聯名商品，都會在華山舉辦的2009台北國際玩具創作大展同步販售，盡請期待！

由play-imaginative舉辦，在星加坡liang court shopping centre舉行的歷時接近八小時的TofuMolly簽名會終於完成!!真的很多謝各位一直支持我們的朋友，有您們到場的熱烈支持，我和北井先生的簽名會才得以順利完成~感激!
Lasting for 8 hours, the autograph sessions of TofuMolly finally finished in Liang Court Centre, Singapore. It was organized by Play Imaginative. Mr. Tokidoki & I thanks our big fans all the way supporting us!! You enthusiasm definitely gives us strength and muscle.

到場第一天大會安排入住離會場很接近的GALLERY HOTEL，很喜歡這裹的上網空間，因為電腦都是用MAC的呢^^
That’s so fantastic that Play Imaginative arranged our accommodation in Gallery Hotel. It was so close to the venue. And the computer is Mac. ^^
會場附近是很有名的clark qauy，中場休息時當然要跑出去逛逛啊!!
Next to the exhibition hall is Clark Qauy. Of course, we won’t miss the chance to look around.
豆腐先生畫畫比我還要快呢，守在下家的kenny不時說笑的用剛學回來的日語向北井先生說:” 請慢一點啊 ~”就在遇然談笑之間，把我們這兩個來自不同地域的人將歡樂溶入我們的簽名畫當中。

我喜愛歡旅遊，每逢到一個新的到地方總希望到當地的市集逛逛，早幾年看到一本有關於倫敦創意市集的書，當然不會錯過^^
I love traveling around, here one of my souvenirs – a book about creativity in London markets.
內容都是有關於一些在市集內的創作人的不同生活方式和背景，那份創作的熱血更不時令我想起鐵人兄弟早年代的那份我就是喜歡，我就是要做的心情。創作就是去做，去享受你喜歡做的，不是成敗的計算。
看了一本很好看，後來又多買一本，遇然看一下作者的名字…《創意市集》作者王怡穎，陰差陽錯之下才知道這位頂頂大名的王小姐原來是一位好朋友的好朋友^^
The book is about the living of people in London markets. It reminds me my early stage in BROTHERSFREE – we did what we love to and we enjoyed every moment in creativity. We never care about production cost.
Here another book – “Fashion Market” by Yiying Wang. What a coincident! She is one of my best friends’ friend.
由於時間緊迫，怡穎到港的時間只有一天，工作室到訪後，吃過一頓她說很滿意的火鍋後，就要準備明天的工作了，利害!!多年前因為買了一本ashley wood的插畫書，後來竟然在我的工作為室內碰面並結識了這位偶像級的畫家…買了兩本王怡穎的書，就認識了王怡穎，看來開卷不但有益，更可增進人緣呢~
關於王怡穎2002年創立的服飾品牌Noodoll在英國站穩腳步後，已於今年初進駐台灣，即將登陸中國和日本。此外，她在2004年出版的《創意市集》一書，除了榮登當年誠品書店「藝術與設計」類最佳圖書外，更在國內引發一陣創意市集風潮。

Did you know I met my mentor, Ashley Wood after I brought his illustration books? Now, the same thing happened! It seems books brought me luck & friends!
About Yiying Wang:
Yiying founded a fashion brand – “Noodle” in Britain at 2002. She stations at Taiwan from the beginning of this year. And planned to explore the markets of China and Japan. In addition, she published the “Fashion Market” in 2004, which was one of the best books of “Art and Design”, held by Eslite Books. It once triggered a new wave of fashion creativity in Taiwan.

上星(被他在網誌上的照片欺騙了^^)個子大大的，很有眼神的，沒有架子，還在現場很認真地畫了一幅popbot給我！

上星期接到一位朋友的邀請，說有位遠道而來的朋友希望接探訪—Ashley wood，哇！當時真的很興奮呢!!還記得六年前左右，買了一本插畫書，買的原因，是書內某幾張插圖，當時還沒有留意插畫師是誰，相信他想必是個大我好幾年的大師…首次見面才知道這位曾多次獲獎的澳洲大師先生才三十多歲，
Last week, got an invitation from my best friend saying a guest, Ashley Wood would come together. Wow, Ashley?! It’s true. I couldn’t believe at that moment!
Day back to six years, I brought a illustration book it was so fantastic though I hadn’t notice who is the illustrator. I just guessed it must someone older than me a few years. What a surprise Ashley came to me and he is only thirty something.
看到人家畫畫畫得很入神的時候，不其然的，也想動起筆來，這就是Ashley的魅力。
It was so enticing when looking at Ashley drew, I couldn’t help to pick up my brush immediately.
(這個計劃我可已經準備了一個晚上呢，畫筆，顏料，畫布，水杯，簽名筆等^^太過份吧~)據知Ashley wood也有留意一些有關我的作品及動向，我還以為Ashley wood一定比較喜歡copperhead這類設計的，天啊，原來他更喜歡的是Molly呢~拿了人家的大禮，又怎好意思，就把我這個Molly試色版送 了給偶像好了。
(I spent an entire night preparing for this project—brushes, paints, canvas, water bottle, pens, etc.^^ That's a bit much, isn't it?) I know Ashley Wood has been following my work and activities, and I thought he'd prefer designs like Copperhead. Oh my god, it turns out he prefers Molly! I couldn't accept such a generous gift, so I just gave my Molly prototype to my idol.

繼Gallerydevie以AsterNg的拳擊懾影展打開了THE-BOXER系列展覽的序幕後 ，Molly將以另一形態的拳擊出戰第二回合展覽。三月十二日至四月九日於中環歌賦街四十五號Gallery de vie鋪面展出。想得到這張印刷精美的大海報和postcard就千萬別錯過今次的展覽啦，更可以順道欣賞Aster Ng的拳擊懾影展呢~
人生就如一場又一場的拳擊賽，只要每個回合都能站起來繼續戰鬥下去，未到最後一秒，我們也有勝利的希望。
主題— The boxer
08年的金融海潚對全世界的沖擊，至今仍未完結，全球經濟受到前所未有巨大威脅，大企業以至弱小社群均要接受一次又一次的嚴峻考驗，一輪比一輪強勁的金融海潚沖擊到底身在香港的我們有沒有辦法迎戰到底呢？有監於此，Gallery de vie特地邀請了本好幾位本地藝術家以多種心情，分別以攝影，雕塑以及繪畫，figure等，各自表達對面臨危機的種種態度。

As a result of the financial crisis and a slowdown in the global economy, Hong Kong’s economy suffered a heavy blow in the year of 2008. Seems the financial tsunami still have a continue effect to us. No matter it’s enterprises or small business units, people need to struggle with difficult environment. Due to this reason, Gallery de Vie together with several local artists to hold an exhibition named “the Boxer”. All works manifest the theme on photo, sculptures, paintings, figurines…

好奇的Molly為了尋找這種奇幻魔法，決定把自已化裝成一樽一樽不同口味的朱古力，希望可以親身感受一下
愛情魔法的滋味，更希望籍著自已的朱古力魔法將這種幸福和浪漫的感覺帶給世間每一位需要愛的朋友。
There are two great magic: one comes from love; the other comes to control love, that is – chocolate! There is also a saying that chocolate was transformed by a love magician who dared for love. Once taken, you will have the feeling of felicity and romance, just like being in love with somebody.

台北國際玩具創作大展
很快又一年了，一年一度的台北國際玩具創作大展又快要來到，由於反應一年比一年熱烈，展覽創辦人Jen決定把今年七月展覽的地點改至台北另一潮流熱 點-華山創意文化園區，( 原來方大同也在這裹辦過演唱會啊~ ) 前身為台北酒廠的華山創意文化園區，展覽區將會比以前更大，容納的人數包括來自海外的設計師將會更多，令台北國際玩具創作大展更具國際化。為迎接新一年的 挑戰，各位親愛的設計師們大家一起努力啊!!
真的很期待來到這個創意文化園區展覽呢~
